Warren E. Pratt

Warren E. Pratt, aka "Bud," 94, of Toledo, OH, passed away November 23rd, 2018 at Ohio Living at Swan Creek. Bud was a wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, aka "Papa." He was also cherished by many in the community and by all of those that knew him. He was born in Toledo, OH, and after high school, spent three years in England in the Army Air Corps during WWII. After the war, he attended Toledo University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. In 1948, he married Grace Eileen, the love of his life. He was a member of the Mason's for over 65 years, as well as a member of the Zenobia Shrine Temple in the Chanters unit. After retiring from Sears, Bud opened his own family business in 1983, Pratt Hearing Aids, which was passed down to his son, and is still successfully run and operated full-time by his grandson. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, with whom he celebrated his 70th wedding anniversary this past March, a son, Brian (Cindy), a daughter, Nancy, grandchildren Jim, Summer (Chip), Mike (Maria), Kevin (Stephanie), and Mandi, great-grandchildren Samantha (Mike), Lucy, Walker, Irah, Anthony, Spencer, Walker, and Grayson, and many nieces and nephews. Please join his family for a visitation from 3-5pm with a Memorial service at 5pm on Tuesday, November 27th, at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, OH 43614. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Ohio Living at Swan Creek.
