Victoria J. Mccourt

Victoria (Vicki) J. McCourt, 92, of Montpelier Ohio and formerly of Toledo passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Evergreen Manor in Montpelier. She was born Victoria Stefanoff on July 8, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio. On March 25, 1947, she married Vaughn (Mac) McCourt and he preceded her in death in October 1968. Vicki loved spending time with her family. She touched many lives (especially children) as she devoted many years caring for them and loving them with all her heart as though they were her own. She enjoyed many years at their cottage at Nettle Lake which later became her home. She loved to sew, knit, crochet and do crafts and was an avid reader. Vicki was a loving and very caring mother to her children Susan (Frank) Taylor, Vaughn Jr. (Darlene) McCourt, Rebecca (Jack) Mansell and Kevin (Toni) McCourt who all survive. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren (with another to arrive at any time). She was preceded in death by her husband Vaughn, father Radi Stefanoff, brother Rodney (Chub) Stefanoff and sister Helen Junge. Visitation will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 3 TO 8 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, Ohio.
