September 20, 1965 — January 19, 2024

Tricia Ann Eldred, 58, passed away, after a 3 week long battle, at the University of Toledo Medical Center MICU unit, on January 19, 2024. She was born September 20, 1965 in Fontana, California to Edward W. and Jean M. Eldred.

Tricia resided at the Northwest Ohio Developmental Center since July 1980, where she was loved by many. After graduating from Larc Lane at 22 years old, she started working for Lott Industries until 2018.

Tricia had such a strong ,unique personality, once you met her, you definitely did not forget her. She loved family gatherings , loved dogs, birds, music, food magazines, dressing nice, and letting others know that they looked nice as well. She addressed others by calling them names such as “cupcake”, “sugar”, peanut butter and jelly, etc., touching many hearts. Most importantly Tricia’s greatest love was her baby doll Kasi Rae, whom in her heart was very real to her.

She is survived by brothers Edward W. II (Deborah) Eldred, Andrew J. (Nancy) Eldred; sisters Tamara S. (Carter) Coley, Teresa L. Skelton, Tracy J. (Richard) Himburg and her aunt Pat Ziolkowski, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private service was held at the Walter Funeral Home, Toledo, Ohio, on January 25, 2024. Officiating was Father Dave Tscherne, St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to her extended family at N.O.D.C. for all the love and care shown to Tricia, and to all the doctors and nurses at U.T.M.C-MICU Unit, who cared for Tricia and comforted her family at an unexpected, very difficult time.
