Tim French, 61, of Maumee, Ohio passed away at his Florida home on May 6, 2018. He was born in Toledo to Lillie (Czebatul) French and Raymond French on August 30, 1956. Tim was an ironworker for 37 years, giving his talents to Local 55 of Toledo and Local 433 of Los Angeles. Tim was a good man, fated to live through the highest highs and lowest lows of human experience. As an artist, he showed us the magic he could see all around him. Tim did not take any regular trips to the store - he had adventures on his way to do errands. He was a devoted father, a life-long motorcycle enthusiast, and a child at heart. As a 9/11 First Responder, Tim donated his time, skills and mental health to serve when his country needed him. He is survived by his children Kameron (Ashley) and Kyrsten (Phil) French; Barbara French, wife; Robin French, first wife; sisters Linda, Elaine (Don), Pam (Scott), and Ami; nieces and nephews Ani, Mickey, Marna, Asa, Olivia and Timmy; Rusty Fralic, lifelong friend; and numerous brothers and sisters of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lillie and Raymond French, and mentor Jim Buckley. A memorial visitation will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, on Thursday, May 17th from 4 to 8 p.m. A memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. Private burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Maumee, Ohio.
