Suzanne E. Meyer Suzanne E. Meyer of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 14, 2021, at the age of 93. She was born on Jan. 14, 1928 to Karl W. and Ruth Alberti. She married George Robert “Bob” Meyer, her high school sweetheart and love of her life, on June 23, 1951. They had 63 wonderful years together and Suzanne was bereft without him. After Suzanne graduated from Libbey High School in 1946, she attended Bowling Green State University and then began her career as a secretary in downtown Toledo. Many years later, she worked in a similar capacity for her brother, Karl. Suzanne and Bob raised two children. When their children were young, they enjoyed many family vacations together. In addition, Sue was a member of Westminster and later Glendale Presbyterian churches. She enjoyed baking for many church events. Everyone loved her chocolate chip cookies! Along with traveling and baking, Sue was always ready for a challenging card game of bridge, rummy or pinochle. Sue was involved in community activities. She delivered Meals on Wheels, led a Girl Scout troop and was an active member of P.E.O., an educational group for women. Most of all, Sue was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and her family was profoundly important to her. Suzanne is survived by daughter Judith (Terry) Kotalik, son Todd (Joan) Meyer, granddaughters Allyson (Michelle) Kotalik and Jillian (Ales) Kotalik, brother John R. Alberti, sister-in-law Raymonde Alberti and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents, her brother, Karl K. “Bud” Alberti and sister-in-law Jane Alberti.
