Steven Richard Holt

Steven Richard Holt, 64, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Steve was born to Richard and Marian Holt (née Klosterhaus) on July 20, 1957. He attended Arlington Elementary School and graduated from Macomber High School in the class of 1975. He was a long-time member of the Fourteenth Ward Old Times Association, where he was affectionately called Bear. Steve was a fan of Ohio State sports, the Cleveland Browns, and NASCAR, and he was an avid golfer, particularly enjoying leagues at South Toledo Golf Club. Steve worked and retired from the Georgia Pacific Company. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Richard. He is survived by his mother, Marian; his siblings, Dennis (Barbara), Darrell (Karen), and Diane Pfaff (née Holt); and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the wonderful care and comfort that Steve received during his brief stay there. We would also like to acknowledge the friendship of his close-knit family from the Ward that he so dearly loved. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue. The funeral service will begin Monday evening at 6:00 pm.
