Sandra Gregory

Sandra Gregory was born in Lawrenceburg Tennessee on April 28th 1944. She passed away at Spring Meadows Nursing Home on Nov 27th, 2019 at the age of 75 years and 7 months. She lived most of young life in Waynesboro TN. Her family relocated to Toledo Ohio in 1951, where she spent the rest of her life. She grew up in North Toledo and attended Woodward High School. She had married Richard Woods in 1963 and remained so for 21 years, they had a son Richard. Sandra was married to her current husband Gene Gregory for the remainder of her life. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Rossford OH. Sandra was very close to her family and relatives, and always enjoyed family reunions and various social events with relatives. She loved to cook and enjoyed having everyone over for dinner, and it didn’t have to be a holiday either. She was very good at staying in touch with all the relatives as she coordinated the family reunions, and did her best to make sure everyone stayed close. She had several Aunts and Uncles in Tennessee and Ohio that she loved and was especially close too. Sandra always cherished the memories and the good times she had with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Anna Belle Baker. She is survived by her husband Gene Gregory, her son Richard (Dana) Woods, her granddaughter Amanda and great granddaughter Makenna. She had three brothers Terry (Debra) Baker, Michael (Carolina) Baker, and Tim (Vicki) Baker. There are several nieces and nephews, and a number of first cousins. Memorial service will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., in Toledo on Wednesday, December 4th at 11AM till around Noon. The family will receive friends starting at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
