Ronald D. Westfall

WESTFALL Ronald D. Sr. Ronald D. Westfall Sr., 85, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at UTMC. Ronald was born to Ward and Delia Westfall in Simpson, WV on October 12, 1931. He was a truck driver for 55 years before retiring, but continued to work many different part-time jobs in the car business for 10 to 15 years. Ron was a very loyal fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He and his wife attended the Tigers Spring Training in Lakeland, FL for 27 years. Ron was very independent and never wanted to ask anyone for help, but always offered to help others. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Jean Westfall on March 23, 2012, and also preceded by his son Paul Terry Westfall, sister Catherine Fleming and brother Denver Westfall. He is survived by his son Ronald (Debbi) Westfall Jr., daughters Nadine Westfall Morse and Debbi Westfall Breisacher; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was known as “Granddad” to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren Visitation for friends and family will be Sunday, October 23rd from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio.
