Robert F. Bratschi Robert “Bobby” Bratschi, 68, of Toledo, Ohio passed away March 26, 2018 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Bobby was born in Toledo to Robert A. and Melba (Carson) Bratschi on November 6, 1949. He was a graduate of Waite High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Bobby was employed by the Toledo Board of Education until his retirement. He was an avid New York Yankee fan. His love for baseball began when he played Pee Wee ball as a child and continued through high school, where he was voted most valuable player on the 1967 Waite High School City Champs team. He played softball and later in life loved to golf, especially with his Dad. Bobby was a faithful member of Calvary Church for over 50 years. He is survived by his sisters, Susan (Danny) Ranes and Diana (Eugene) Nivens; niece, Shannon (Greg) Cox; nephews, Sean (Connie) Ranes, Chad Nivens, Shane (Erin) Nivens and Justin (Ashley) Nivens; and aunt, Billie Lou Carson. The family will receive friends at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue on Friday, April 6th from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home Saturday at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
