It is with great sadness, we would like to announce the passing of Nicholas James Leeper. Nick, as he was fondly called by family and friends, was a bright and empathetic young man. He left us unexpectedly on June 15th, 2023 in Camden County, New Jersey. He was born July 11th, 1998 in Toledo,Oh to James Leeper Jr. and Cynthia (Rangel) Burck. He graduated from the University of Toledo in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He excelled at working in his field right out of school wherein he had a knack for mathematics and problem solving.
Nick was blessed by being able to travel the world with the love of his life, Macy Theisen. Additionally, he enjoyed many things such as watching and attending sporting events-especially football, playing video games, fishing, dancing, chess, comic books, and anime. He never really was afraid of trying new things, including different foods. Developing an interest early on for superheroes, he had a distinct obsession for Spiderman. It was truly a lifelong love and Nick would even take any opportunity to wear a Spiderman costume from the time he was very little even into his young adulthood where he would still wear his Spiderman attire on occasion much to the entertainment of those around him.
Nick had a great interest in taking things apart and reassembling them to learn how all of their pieces worked together. The knowledge he gained by this hobby helped allow him many successes, including winning honors with Team Rocketry. He also put time into his creative interests, and designed the most unique and awesome pieces utilizing his 3D printer.
Nick would regularly end up being the life of the party as he was genuinely goofy and endearing without being aware of it. He also enjoyed his fun and would get up to lots of crazy shenanigans with others as often as he could get away with. His friends would tell you he was super loyal and the best wingman you could ask for.
Nick would always give anyone the time of day if they needed and would leave you feeling like you mattered. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in almost every situation and you would usually never see him without one of his great big smiles.
Nick is preceded by his grandfather, James Leeper Sr.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his father James, (Anissa) Leeper Jr.; mother Cynthia, (Crystal) Burck; loving girlfriend, Macy Theisen; sister Alexies, (Todd) Monroe; niece, Emmalyn; nephews, Riley and Cody; grandparents, and many close aunts, uncles, and cousins.
