Susan Renee Bell, age 66, of Toledo Ohio unexpectedly gained her wings on January 25, 2023.

Renee (Nay Nay) was born in Charleston West Virginia on June 23, 1956. She was a 1974 Bowsher high school graduate where she loved being a part of the choir and playing the flute. She went on to marry and had a son who she named Wesley James Wood. Renee’ enjoyed spending time with her husband, Jim of 28 years, her son, Wes and his fiancé Sarah, family, and her beloved dogs. She eventually retired from Foundation Park care center.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, son, Wes, sisters, Sheri, Tina, and Jamie. Also multiple nephews and nieces, distant cousins as well as her beloved dogs, Gracie and Barney. She also loved the beach.

Renee’ was preceded in death by her mother and father, Jim and Marlene Ritchie.

Visitation will be held at Walter Funeral Home on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with funeral services on Tuesday, January 31 at 10:30 AM also at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the animal rescue of your choice in honor of Renee would be appreciated.
