Marlene A. Hoffman, age 79, of Toledo, passed away on September 25, 2023 at Lakes of Monclova. She was born on December 25, 1943 to Daniel C. and Jesse J. Lubinski (Dominiak). Her entire life was spent making sure everything and everyone was taken care of. After working many years outside her home at Kahler Pharmacy, she finally retired to enjoy her family time. Marlene loved playing cards, especially skip-bo, enjoyed trips to the casino and holiday gatherings which were always celebrated at her house. She adored her 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandbabies – and Swag, her grand dog who she always shared her lunch with.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Raymond. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Janice (Jeff) Cone, Lori (Andy) Metzger and Lisa (Jim) Neyhart; grandchildren, Aaron (Amber), Corey (Cynthia), Michelle, Abby (Logan) and Tiffany (Alec); great-grandchildren, Maddison, Mason, Vivian, Jaxson, Julian, Liam, Olivia, Beckham, Camden and Jamie; sisters-in-laws, Vera Wagner and Mickey Hoffman and by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Monday October 2, 2023 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at 9:00 am with prayers in the mortuary followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1842 Airport Hwy. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
