Marie "Mickey" Circle

August 9, 1947 — May 11, 2020

Born August 9, 1947 to James and Elizabeth (Heiser) Neary, Marie "Mickey" Circle went to be with the Lord Jesus on May 11, 2020. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ronald and Patrick, sister Susan Langendorfer, sister-in-law Sally Neary and daughter-in-law Margaret Circle. She is survived by her brothers James "Red" Neary, Robert (Dee) Neary, Daniel (Paula) Neary, Michael (Laurie) Neary, sisters Carol (Robert) Falke, and Kathaleen (Robert) Martin, brother-in-law David Langendorfer, and sisters-in-law Jeannie and Jill Neary. Mickey has three children, Angela (James) McCourt, Scott Circle, and Raymond (Teresa) Circle, Jr., 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous Neary and Heiser nieces, nephews, and cousins. Annual family reunions were no small affair, and a must on Mickey's calendar. Mickey was a Toledo native, and held a daycare in her home where she cared for countless well-loved children for over 30 years. She loved her country and lived in such a way that others around her did too. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and kept scorebooks of the games. She collected and cherished cardinals, "red birds", which reminded her of a favorite Bible verse, James 1:17, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." She was born again through faith in Jesus in July 1979, and was from thereon a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church, now known as One Hope Church, where she actively and faithfully served in hospitality, organizing meals and fellowships. Being head of hospitality, she was also a wedding planner and coordinator for many couples and was known for her attention to detail. Mickey was a support and encouragement to everyone she knew. She was often praying with, sending a poem, or reading scripture to encourage someone. She will be greatly missed and has changed and impacted countless people in her life. Her main passion was her love for the Lord Jesus. Not far behind that was her love for family. She was a great mom, sister, aunt, grandma, and friend. Her daily planners list numerous people she led to the Lord over 40 years. Though she lived a simple life here on earth, great is her reward in Heaven! We will miss you, Mom Grandma Mickey, and can't wait to meet you there!
