Lorelei K. (Buffington) DeBrosse went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Lorelei was born July 10, 1936, to Archie Buffington and Hazel (Watson) Buffington. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Joseph F. DeBrosse, Jr.; sister, Shirley Shockley; brother, Michael Vallely; great grandchildren, Ethan, Emma & Elexis. She is survived by brother, Archie Buffington of Palm Desert, California; children, Cindy DeBrosse, Sandy (Bill) Self, Buff LeBarr, Tammy Storey, Karen Weidman, Joe DeBrosse, Dave DeBrosse, Lorie (Mark) Davis, Dan DeBrosse; grandchildren, Sarah (Tim) Godfrey, Julie Self, Marty (Crystal) Self, Rob and Aja LeBarr, Jay (Patty) Storey, Jennifer (Mike) Storey, Randy Weidman, Angela (Jeff) Amstutz, Jason Casaus, Alathea DeBrosse, Brandy (Justin) Kossow, Justin & David DeBrosse, Kyle DeBrosse, Sierra (Victor) Basler, Jennifer (Rob) Leszyk, Shannon (Matt) Waddilove, Kelly DeBrosse; 25 great grandchildren; special friends Penny Arnold, Mary Lou Villarreal and church family at Living Hope (Bethel Baptist) Church. Lorelei graduated from Sylvania Burnham High School in 1954. She devoted her life to raising her children and serving the Lord. There will be a Memorial Service on May 14, 2016, at Living Hope Church, 4621 Glendale Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43614. Family and friends will be received at 12:30pm, with service to follow at 2:00pm. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Toledo Area Humane Society. Arrangements by The Walter Funeral Home, 419-382-1700.
