Lewis W. Shiflett

Lewis (“Bill”) Shiflett, 90, of Holland, departed this world on Saturday, February 18th surrounded by his loved ones. Lewis lived his life to the fullest. He and his beloved wife of 68 years, Ola Shiflett thoroughly enjoyed their retirement traveling the country and visiting loved ones. Lewis served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Lewis is survived by his doting wife, Ola, his only daughter, Kathy (Michael) as well, his grandchildren, Robert Lee, Suzanne (Dustin) Face, Christina (Chris) Knight, and Jacob (Chelsea), as well as several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. His funeral service will begin at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
