Lawrence John Gilsdorf Jr.

Lawrence “Larry” John Gilsdorf Jr., age 62, of South Toledo, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at his home. Larry worked for LO-Temp Brazing Company for 33 years. He loved gardening, boating and fishing, golf, bowling and cooking. He cherished his time spent with his grandsons and family. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Sr. and Ann Gilsdorf, brother Robert Gilsdorf; grandparents Jean and Ed Hardman and Clem and Bernadette Gilsdorf. Larry is survived by his wife of 40 year, Pamela Gilsdorf, sons Michael (Kim) and Lawrence III (Kayla) Gilsdorf; grandsons Lawrence IV and Travis Gilsdorf; sisters Lorie (Jim) Kravetsky, Katie (Jim) Roach and Karen Berman (Ernie Spaulding); also many nieces and nephews. A gathering to celebrate Larry’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 31st, at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
