Laverne R. Leroux

LaVerne R. LeRoux, age 92, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018, while at the Elizabeth Scott Communtiy , Maumee, Ohio. LaVerne graduated from Libbey High School. She worked for the Ace Hardware RSC; was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church and she loved to dance. LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents, Julius C. and Marie (Peth) Melka; sister Jean Melka; her husband’s William V. LeRoux and Daniel R. Pilrose Sr. She is survived by her cousins Jeanette Fowler, Randy and Carol Fahrer, Dan and Becky Fahrer, Sharon and Earl Pappenfuss; in-laws Sharon and Dave Leroux and niece Kathy LeRoux. A visitation will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio, on Tuesday, June 5th, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, 3360 Nebraska Avenue, Toledo, with burial to follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
