Joseph A. Lajune

Joseph A. LaJune Joseph A. LaJune, age 80 years, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday March 25th, 2021, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born February 1, 1941 in Fostoria, Ohio. He was the son of the late Beulah (Uhal) and James C. LaJune. Joe attended Central Catholic Highschool before enlisting in the U.S. Army on April 3rd, 1958 and was honorably discharged on March 20, 1961. He then transferred to the U.S.A.R Army Corps and completed his service on April 2, 1964. Joe had various jobs including working for Dana Corporation for many years and Spieker Realty. Joe was an avid car enthusiast and loved mechanics. He had many friends and enjoyed music, dancing and singing. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, James C. LaJune, Jr. and Richard T. LaJune and his sister Mary (Raymond) Murray. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved companion of 32 years, Deb McClellan, his son Todd A. LaJune, his step-children Jason Waite, Greg (Bridgette) McClellan, and Nicole (Matt) Cherry. Joe has 7 grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Shane, Austyn, Bryant, Ethan, MJ, Andrew and Isaac. He will be dearly missed by all. The family will receive visitors at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, on Saturday April 3rd, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, where a Memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm immediately following the visitation. “See ya when I see ya”
