Johnny C. Stevenson

Johnny C. Stevenson, 67, of south Toledo, passed away September 12, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, while surrounded by his family. Johnny was born on July 3, 1949 in Fremont, MI, and was raised by Edward and Elizabeth McGlawn in Mississippi. Johnny was a US Army Veteran, and was proud to have served in Vietnam. He worked as a fork lift operator for many years, working very hard to support his family. Johnny loved to spend his free time metal detecting and was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. Johnny is survived by the love of his life and wife of 45 years Pat ”Trish”; children Lisa (Eric) Gambrell and John (Joie) Stevenson; grandchildren Larissa, Elizabeth, Jimmy, Miranda, Leah and Elise and cousin Jim and Carol Flenner Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15th from 6 to 8 p.m. with Military Honors at 7:45, at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio.
