Harry Frederick Loehrke, Jr. The greatest generation lost two great members on April 17, 2018. Along with Barbara Bush, Harry Frederick Loehrke Jr., affectionately known as “Mike,” departed this world at his home in the company of loved ones. While growing up, his family worshipped at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, and he later served as an Elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church and Glendale Presbyterian Churches. Mike and his high-school-sweetheart wife, Joan (Wright) Loehrke, celebrated sixty-five years of marriage before her passing in 2009. Together they enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, and attending events involving their three children, six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. This generations, kind man will be lovingly remembered by his children, Craig (Mary) Loehrke, Susan (Charles) Bolanis, and Ann (Richard) Evans, six devoted grandchildren and their spouses, fourteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as sister-in-law, Dorothy Beyer, and cousin, Mary Beth (James) Walz.
