Harriet May Jackson

Harriet Jackson of South Toledo passed away on March 31. Married to Richard Jackson of 57 yrs. Harriet worked at Independent Bookbinding until close and after for the State of Ohio Dept of Taxation until retirement. She and her loving husband Richard were loyal volunteers and supporters of Marcy Kaptur for many years. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Pearl Sutton and her son Norm Wingate. She is survived by her husband Richard; daughter Deb Rochte; granddaughters Sarah Rochte, Shannon (Nick) Thetford, and great grandchildren Elliot and Emery. Harriet will remain in our hearts as a loving wife, mother and grandmother including many family members and friends. Visitation will be held at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, on Thursday, April 5th from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. walterfuneralhome .com or our facebook page.
