Gary F. Winger

Gary F. Winger, age 68, of Toledo passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Advance Healthcare Center, Toledo. Gary was a graduate of Libbey High School and served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an assistant Boy Scout Leader and Badge Counselor for Troup # 66. Gary was passionate about his hobby of HO scale model railroading. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia (Wagner) Winger and his brother Lanny Winger. He is survived by his wife, of 44 years, Barbara A. Winger; daughter Jennifer (Teresa); son Erik (Carrie); grandchildren Cooper and Sarah (Ian) Lee and his sister Roanna Gehrs and her family. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23rd, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo and where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
