Gail Willis-Allen

December 11, 1960 — April 14, 2020

Gail Willis-Allen went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at her residence. Gail was born on December 11, 1960, to the union of Robert and Bernice (Wallace) Willis in Toledo, Ohio. She was employed at Kohl's Department Store as a Visual Merchandiser for over 25 years. She was a minister at Trust in Jesus and an active member of her community. Her family and friends will remember her most for always being there for them, with her sweet smile, a helping hand and an unconditional love for everyone. Her love for sports was unprecedented, especially for tennis. She will be truly missed in the community. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Allen; and her brother, Robert Willis, Jr. She is survived by her children, Tye Willis and MyLynn Allen; sister, Deborah (Felton) Jackson; brothers, Melvin Willis and Gary Willis (Hampton, VA. ); four grandchildren, Angel, Joseph, Rose, and Peter; along with nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Services will be private. She will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery. Continue to support and pray for her family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. We are limiting in person gatherings at Walter Funeral Home but we will be Live Streaming Gail's Funeral.
