Frederick Joseph Kehres

Mr. Frederick J. Kehres, 85, of 3501 Executive Pkwy. in Toledo, died Thursday, September 27th, in his home. Fritz was a retired electronics technician for Owens-Illinois. A lifelong member of St. James Catholic Parish in the South End, he served the parish in various lay capacities until its closing. He was preceded in death by his wives, Linda A. (Smith) and Mary Agnes (Moore Stelzer). He is survived by his sons, Kevin J. (Ellen), Paul J. (Linda) and Brian E. (Anne Marie), and his grandchildren; his stepchildren, Mary Kay Stelzer, Kristina M. Stefanelli and Joseph E. Stelzer, and his step-grandchildren; his brother, Charles (Bud) Kehres; and many nieces and nephews. A Catholic funeral mass celebrating his life will take place on October 13th at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church on Airport Hwy. in Toledo. Visitation with the family will be at the church at 10 a.m. prior to the mass. Walter Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.
