Elvina Thompson

Elvina Katherine (Clark) Thompson 88, of Toledo, OH passed away on Wednesday May 31st, while under hospice care.

Elvina was born on October 30, 1934 to Columbus G. Clark and Orma Clark, both of Toledo.

Elvina met and married Neil A. Thompson in 1957, and remained married for 34 years until his death in 1991.

Elvina had many jobs over the years, but enjoyed being a wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. One of her favorite pastimes was caring for children, which she did often after her retirement.

She is survived by her daughters Lorena (Daren) Garmenn, Stephanie Ryan, and son Tyler Thompson. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Miranda, Justen, Darien and Nicholas, as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Leo and Athena.

Elvina was preceded in death by her husband Neil, brothers Chuck and Louie Clark, and sister Vera Dyko.

A private viewing will be held at the Walter Funeral Home 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo OH, Friday, June 9th, 2023. This will be followed by a public graveside funeral service beginning at 12 Noon when Elvina will be laid to rest at Swanton Centerville Cemetery.
