Dolores “Dee Dee” Johns Dolores A. Johns, 70, of south Toledo passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Detroit Ave. Dolores was born on August 10, 1946 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Gerald and Mildred (Stewart) Corbin. Dee Dee was an avid member of Al Anon since 1981 and had enjoyed gardening when she was able. She loved playing poker and was a huge fan of “The King”, Elvis. Her main joy in life though was her family and especially time spent with her grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Johns in 2004, infant son Steven Patrick and her brother Jerry Corbin. She is survived by children: Patrick Brumley, Kimberly (Donald) Szczublewski and Sean Brumley; grandchildren: Julia Brumley, Johnathan and Jaeann Thomas, and Dakota and Nathan Miller and great-grandchildren Delayah and Dallas Allen. Also surviving are her brothers John and Donald Corbin and two special friends Brenda Stevens and Judy Springstead. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 7th from 3 to 6 PM at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, 43614 where funeral services will begin at 6 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the family in care of the funeral home.
