Daniel Z. Wielgopolski

Daniel Z. Wielgopolski, 74, of South Toledo passed away on May 15, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Detroit Ave. He was born in Toledo on March 21, 1950 to Zigmund and Mary Wielgopolski the 2nd son of 6 boys.

Daniel worked for 35 years at the Toledo Jeep plant until he retired and then worked for 10 years for Clean Team. He loved to play guitar and loved riding his motorcycle in earlier days.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years in June, Helen (Shute); sons Joel (Brandy) and Jon (Sonya) Wielgopolski; grandchildren Emily, Lilly, Addison, Ellissa, Aiden and Elannah. He is also survived by brothers Tommy, Timmy and Bobby. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, brothers David and Billy and daughter Kelly.

The family has elected for a private cremation and to have Daniel taken home. Arrangements were handled by Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave.
