Carmen M. Heredia

Carmen M. Heredia, age 57, of Toledo, passed away at home on Saturday, June 24, 2023.

She was born on December 4, 1965 to Abelardo Heredia and Mabel (Olvera) Heredia in Toledo, Ohio.

She worked for Jobst Institute for several years, and after that was a server for many more. Carmen was very passionate about her son and grandchildren. They were her world. She was an amazing, loving Grandma who spent all of her free time spoiling her grandkids. She would always be there for anyone who needed a hand or a friend. She enjoyed being around people, and had many, many friends who adored her. Carmen loved cooking and spending her days shopping.

Carmen is survived by her son, Timothy (Raelynn) Reed; her grandchildren, Dillon Norris, Daxon Reed, and Emersyn Reed of Wauseon, Ohio. She also leaves behind her father, Abelardo “Abe” Heredia of Toledo, sister, Sandie (Heredia) Reyes of Defiance, Ohio, and brother, Dino Heredia of Toledo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Heredia.

There will be a showing on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., Toledo 43614 from 2 to 5 p.m., with the recital of the Rosary at 5:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Make-A-Wish Foundation in lieu of flowers.
