In loving memory of William J. Henley, 96 years old, of Toledo, Ohio passed away November 27, 2022 at home where he wanted.
He proudly served in the Navy during World War II aboard the Battleship U.S.S. Massachusetts, being awarded numerous medals and ribbons for his service.
He was active in the South Toledo League as a coach and mentor, along with the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He drove a truck professionally for more than 30 years. After his first retirement he went back to work for a few more years before finally settling into full retirement.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his children, Theresa and William; his parents; and son-in-law, Paul Bolin. Surviving are his children, James (Janie), Linda Bolin, Jean (George) Ford, Melvin, Gail (Danny) Medina and Jon (Susie) his loving daughter-in-law; grandchildren, Theresa, Laura, David, Greg (Hannah), Paul, Elizabeth, Caroline; and great-grandchildren, Lilian, Evan, Scarlette, Killian, Carmyn, Tyriqure and Ezekiel.
Services and internment will be private for the family.
