William F. “Bill” Streicher, 90, formerly of south Toledo and most recently of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Thursday evening, April 19, 2018 at Browning Masonic Community. Bill worked 30 years at the Toledo GM Powertrain Plant here in Toledo. Bill was a World War II Veteran of the US Navy, serving with the Seebees in Guam and the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was a 65 year member of the Paragon Masonic Lodge No. 788, Millbury, Ohio and a member of the Zenobia Shrine, where he served on the Director’s Staff. Bill enjoyed his membership for many years at the Maumee Elks and Maumee Eagles Clubs. He was an avid golfer and was a member at the South Toledo Golf Club for many years. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Joan M. Streicher, parents Gordon and Lucille Bach, children Randy and Sandra Streicher, two brothers and two sisters. Bill is survived by his son Bill (Sharon) Streicher; grandchildren Shannon (Mike) Brazzil, Scott (Jill) Streicher, and Anthony Whitely; great-daughters Lily Streicher, and Adalyn and Alayna Brazzil. Visitation will be held at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, on Wednesday, April 25th, from 4 – 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 26th, at 10 a.m. in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
