Tina Ann Warren

WARREN Tina Ann Tina Ann Warren, 40, of Toledo passed away suddenly on Monday, August 29,2016. She was born on July 21, 1976 to Robert and Patti Porter. Tina graduated from Bowsher High School in 1994. Tina began working for the Toledo Police Department as a records clerk in April 2001, and was promoted to dispatch in January 2006, and then to senior communications operator in June, 2008, handling calls for officers in the field. She was also a member of AFSCME Local 7. Her family, her children and her nephews, were her constant love and gave her great joy. Tina was preceded in death by her father, grandparents Melvin and May Prond and her aunt Dorothy Leking. She is survived by her children Kory, Kyra and Maya Warren; mother Patti (John McNett) Porter, sister Connie (Al) Meglitsch, nephews Devan (Erica) and Anthony (Bethany) Fox and great-nephews Jordan, Kayden and Noah Fox. Also surviving is her aunt Penny (Mike) Prond-Hyott and her extended family at 911 Dispatch and Toledo Police and Fire and her dear friend Gayle Holtzman. Friends may call at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, on Thursday, September 1st from 2-8 PM, where funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private for the family. The family requests memorials to be made to the Tina Warren Fund and contributions may be made at any office of the Toledo Police or Toledo Fire Credit Union.
