Robert C. Hipp

Robert C. Hipp, 57, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Inpatient Facility. Robert was born on October 25, 1959 to Robert and Jean (Willey) Hipp. Robert graduated from Rogers High School, where he played on the golf team. Golf was his passion and his favorite place to be was on the golf course. He was a member of Toledo Country Club. Robert worked for landscape companies and the last several years he worked at Walmart. Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert; step-fathers James Allen and Dr. Frederick Hiss; and his sister Carol Hipp. He is survived by his mother Jean Allen-Hiss; sister Christine Legeza and niece Alison Legeza; aunt Marynette Hipp and cousins David Hipp and Susan Neiman. He is also survived by his special dogs, Norman and Elly. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo. His funeral service will begin on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo.
