Robert “Bob” Killian was born, lived, loved, had children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and now his life has come full circle and he passed away on September 24, 2021 to return to his maker. He goes to a better place with his loving Barbara, as well as family and friends who have passed before him. If there is any truth in the belief that there are dogs in heaven, then he has a lot of kisses and lap warmings to look forward to. Bob served as adjunct faculty at Owens Community College, he also was an Environmental Engineer at Wallbridge Coatings and quality control at Honeywell in Rockford, IL. Previous to that he had served as quality control at Devilbiss and as an Industrial Engineer at the former Champion Spark Plug in Toledo. He was also a member of the MS Society of Northwest Ohio for over 15 years. Mr. Killian was an avid and skilled carpenter in his free time and he was also known for his great sense of humor and love of making people laugh. He is survived by 2 sons Scott (Chelsea) and Lt. Colonel Stuart (Wendy) Killian, grandchildren Lukas, Annika, Airman First Class Samuel, William and Sophie, step-daughters Pamela Gallagher and Robin Clifford, as well as Many step-granchildren and step-great grandchildren . Friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. from 2-8 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 10 AM from the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to either The MS Society of NWOhio or Hospice of NWOhio.
