Robert "Bob" F. Grames

Robert F. Grames, 88, of south Toledo passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Detroit Ave. Bob was born on July 22, 1928 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Howard and Bessie Grames. He was employed at Hatfield Oldsmobile for 46 years retiring as the Service Manager. Bob was a well-rounded individual that enjoyed writing poetry and was an accomplished singer. He was well liked by all that knew him and he was always ready with a story or a joke. Bob was preceded in death by his son Robert L. Grames in 2000 and by siblings James and Don Grames, Helen Rice, Sandra Ankenbrandt , Marilyn Lees and Fran Knepper. He is survived by wife Geraldine Frosch, sons: Michael and Jeff (Sara) Grames, 4 Grandchildren, one brother Howard Grames and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 9th from 2 to 8 PM at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, 43614. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 10 at 11 AM from Church of The Cross United Methodist Church, 1750 Eastgate Rd. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
