Rebecca Lee Grove

Rebecca (Becky) Lee Grove, age 75, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Becky was born in Toledo on August 28, 1948 to Frank and Betty DeVault.

Becky was a long-time employee and retired from Lake Park in Sylvania, Ohio. She enjoyed playing games with family and friends, watching TV shows, and time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known as a “picky eater,” but loved her desserts. She enjoyed late night conversations with her best friend Mary.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband David Grove and parents, six sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her children Melodee, David (Cara), Kylie and Matthew; grandchildren Abbie, Ashley (Darren), Jazmine, Lexi, Mackenzee, Mattison, Matthew, David, Richard (Brianna), Aric; great-grandchildren Jaxon, Landon, Sutton, Crew, Brooks, Baby G., D.J.; many nieces and nephews and life-long best friend Mary (Saad) Hassan and Sarah.

Visitation will be held at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio on Friday, March 8th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on the 5th floor of UTMC and Rachel with Ohioans Home Healthcare for the loving care shown to Becky.
