Raymond J Pryka

Ray Pryka, 88, of Long Beach in Oak Harbor, Ohio passed away on September 24, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ray was born on November 17, 1935. He loved spending time on Lake Erie and in Sunset Beach, NC. He enjoyed fishing and golf and just being with family and friends. Ray worked for Roadway Express for 38 years retiring in 1991. He was a very hard worker who always put his family first. He will be missed tremendously and he will live forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife DeAnn, children Randy (Shelley) Pryka and Renee (Jim) Valtin. Grandchildren Geoff (Amanda) Pryka, Leah (Jon) Blewitt, Hayden (Sydney) Pryka and Madysen Valtin. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and one on the way in December. His infant daughter Mary preceded him in death.

Friends will be received at Walter Funeral home 4653 Glendale Ave, Toledo on Thursday October 10, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am. A funeral service at the funeral home will begin at 1:00 pm and will be followed by a luncheon at the Liberty House in Waterville, OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Ottawa County or the Salvation Army.
