Phyllis June Brunner

Phyllis J Brunner departed this world on Feb 9th, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

Phyllis was an excellent cake decorator, seamstress and master card player.

She loved travel and camping and never met a stranger. She was a retired food service manager for Toledo Public Schools.

She lived with her husband David W. Brunner Sr. in the south end. They were married 57 years and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son David W. Brunner Jr. and granddaughter Kelly Drew.

She is survived by her daughter Debora (Jack) Gensler, Diana (Dave) Drew, Douglas (Christine) Brunner,

Daniel (Nancy) Brunner, her sister Judy Gramling and brother John (Miko) Klem.

She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren Jodi (Jamie) Grime, Jamie (Kallie) Gensler, Julie (Lonny) Grime, Joel (Stephanie) Gensler,, Nicholas (Miranda Cherry-Fiancé) Brunner, Jessica (Christopher Raines-Fiancé) Brunner and Rebecca Drew.

Twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Friends may call on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 2-8 PM at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., where services will be held Friday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Lucas Lutheran Church or the Maumee Senior Center.

To know Mon was to love her. We will miss you forever.
