Patricia A. Lark

Patricia Ann Lark, 94, of Holland passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Patricia grew up in Toledo. She was born to Charles F. and Dorothy (Watson) Leiter on March 10, 1929. She married Rayner “Pete” Lark in April of 1952. Patricia worked at The Toledo Museum of Art for several years working alongside her sister-in-law Joan Leiter. She was an avid seamstress and crafter and always had a camera at every family event.

In her later years she lived independently at Wolf Creek retirement community. She met wonderful friends and participated in numerous activities such as crafting, games, happy hours, and sing-a-longs. She had a special fondness for Peggy Lemley, her hairdresser who always made her look and feel like a queen.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Rayner Lark; brother Charles R. Leiter; nieces Janice Reed and Patricia Johnston; and great nephew Johnson R. Waite.

She is survived by nieces and their husbands Mary Jo and Johnson Waite, Christy and Edward Morris, Susan and Kevin Michelson, Michelle and Kevin O’Keefe; and nephews and their wives John and Diane Lark, Jeff and Elaine Lark, and Robert Dearing. Also many loving great nieces and nephews; and her special great-great niece Noelle Cauley who was the light of her life.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10th, at 11am at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Road, Toledo. The family will greet friends for visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Pat’s memory are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Toledo Humane Society.
