Lois M O'Connell

Lois M (Coressel) O’Connell, 88, originally from Defiance, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday April 26, 2021 in Riverside Methodist Hospital. She graduated from Jewell High School in 1950 and from Elkhart Business University in 1951. After University she moved to Toledo where she worked as an office manager before marrying and dedicating her life to raising her family. She spent her later years in Hilliard and Grove City, Ohio. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D O’Connell, her parents Daniel and Berna Coressel, sister Dolores Coressel, brothers James, Richard and David. She is survived by her children, Jean (Mark) Potter, William O’Connell and Ellen O’Connell (Perry Loeffler), grandchildren; Ryann and Luke Potter, Clayton and Tobias Davis, and five great-grandchildren, Jesse, Hazel, Capron, Rosie and Leilani Davis. Lois is also survived by her sisters, Notre Dame Sister M Danielle, Eileen Brittain, Carol (Carl) Herman, Joyce (Wayne) Grime and sister-in-law Laura Coressel. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local food bank or Catholic Charities.
