Kit Rowland

Kit (Rudolph) Rowland, 63, of Maumee, OH passed away on January 1, 2017 surrounded by family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was the daughter of Don and Marian Jean “Sandy” Rudolph, and grew up in Monclova on Coder Road along with her sister, Kay and brother, Kim. Kit graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in1971, where she played the flute as a proud member of the Marching Generals. Kit was a radiologic technologist certified in mammography. She became a registered radiologic technologist from Riverside Hospital; and worked in the Breast Care Center at Toledo Hospital for many years. Kit also received an Associate degree in Accounting from Owens Community College. Kit married the love of her life, Tim in 1980, and with her adventurous spirit the two of them traveled to some of the world’s most beautiful places. She was always researching & planning their next trip whether it was with their two boys, Jeff & Matt or with their wonderful circle of close-knit friends. Kit was a strong willed individual that always kept everyone in the family in line. She loved to have fun, dance with her friends & family, and listen to the latest music. Kit was always the go-to when her family & friends needed advice because she loved to research and learn. She loved nothing more than a good debate and had the cleanest house in town. Kit will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Kit is survived by her best friend and husband of 36 years, Timothy Rowland; her sons Jeff (Lindsay Weills) Rowland, Matthew (Jaime) Rowland; sister, Kay (Dallas) Lawson, brother, Kim (Diane) Rudolph; grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Isabelle and Beckett. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Heather Mackan, Brandon (Cass) Lawson, Nicholas Lawson, Garrett, Tyler, and Blake Rudolph; her great nieces and nephews Tucker & Eva Mackan; Darcy & Devin Lawson. A celebration of life to honor Kit will be held on Sunday January 8, 2017 from 1- 4pm (prayers at 2pm) at Le Petit Gourmet, 6546 Weatherfield Ct. # I in Maumee, OH.
