Joyce Ann Blum

Joyce Ann Blum (nee Wesenberg) Joyce Ann Blum, 85, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Joyce was born February 19, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio. She attended Clay High School and was a bookkeeper for Buckeye Brewery, Fine Wines, and retired from Heidelberg Distributing Co. in 1994. Joyce is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Josephine and Walter Surowiec her father Durward Wesenberg ,her husband Donald Blum, and her daughter Tina A Horton. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl “Cherie” Miller (Chuck) of Sandusky, Ohio, her son Paul D. Blum (Linda) of Courtland, Ohio; grandchildren Corey E. and Christopher D. Miller, Julie Waites (Nick), Lauren Blum, Kyle Albert (Mary), Aylssa Bacon (Tom), Kaleah M. Horton and Kyle S. Horton; great-grandchildren Samuel, Owen and Ryan Waites, Trace and Austyn Bacon. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10th from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4555 N. Haven, Toledo, Ohio, (main entrance and parking lot off North Lockwood) and followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contribution in Joyce’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
