Joan L. Hehl

Joan L. Hehl, 79, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. Joan was born, in Toledo, on June 11, 1942 to Lester and Verna (Ewald) Korb. Joan worked over 20 years in banking here in Toledo. She was a lifelong member of the former Arlington Avenue Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on Lake Erie at Sand Beach, Carroll Township, Ohio. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hehl in 2013, her parents, and daughter Kimberlee Hehl. Surviving are her children Jeffrey Hehl, Christopher (Donna) Hehl, Todd (Karen) Hehl; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister Judy Greiner and brother James (Judy) Korb. Visitation will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio, on Friday, August 6th from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.
