James E. A. "Leep" Leeper Sr.

James E. A. Leeper, 69, of south Toledo passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on May 6, 1947 in Toledo to Bill and Betty Leeper. A graduate of Start High School, Jim attended and received his Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Toledo. Jim was also an Army veteran and had served in Vietnam. Jim worked for the City of Toledo in the Water Department as a cost officer for 30 years, retiring in 2014 He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his children Andrea (Keith) Foote, James (Anissa) Leeper, Jr., Missy Leeper and Joe Leeper, as well as their mother, Sandra Huntzinger; Grandchildren Chelsea, Lexi, Nick and Jami and one Great Grandchild Emmalyn. He is also survived by a sister Connie Leeper of San Francisco, CA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19th, 2016 from 2-7 pm at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. where funeral services will be held on Thursday evening at 7 PM. Interment will be private for the family.
