Jacqueline "Jackie" M. Mccarty

Jacqueline M. McCarty, 75, of Toledo, passed away August 2, 2017, at the Toledo Hospital following a brief battle with Lung Cancer. Jackie was born on February 5, 1942 to William and Marie Timming of Toledo. She was a graduate of Woodward High School. Jackie married John McCarty and they were able to celebrate 56 years of marriage. Jackie worked for Bell Binders in Toledo for over 30 years. She was an avid gardener, a very hard worker and a devoted wife and mother to her family. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, her son John P. “Little John” McCarty and four brothers. She is survived by her husband John, children Michael (Karla) Mc Carty, Scott Cass, and Kelli (Michael Ratcliffe); grandchildren Ryan, Jenna and Little John McCarty, and Connor Cass. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 5th from 11 am to 4 pm at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, followed by a brief remembrance service to begin at 4 pm.
