Esther L Legron

Esther L. LeGron Esther L. LeGron, 95, formerly of south Toledo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 31, 2017. Esther was born on November 12, 1921 in Toledo to Nelson and Grace Winne. A graduate of Libbey high school, she married Ronald LeGron and together they owned and operated LeGron’s Flower Shop on Glendale Avenue. Esther also worked for 25 years at the DeVilbiss Company as a cost accountant until her retirement. She was a longtime active member of O.E.S. belonging to Triune Chapter #344 where she had served as Worthy Matron and was also a member of Dendarah Court No. 10 L.O.S.N.A. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Ronald in July of 2002. Esther is survived by her daughter Patricia (Terry) Keller, grandchildren Kimberly (John) Brown and Kevin Keller. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Kelly Spangler-Devdariani, Kate Spangler and Deanna (Joe) Majchszak and great-great grandchildren Antony Devdariani and L.J. Majchszak. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 5-8 PM at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., with O.E.S. services at 7 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 AM from the funeral home. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
