Elaine Leah Radunz, age 100, passed away on December 31, 2020 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born on November 2, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio. Elaine was a graduate of Libbey High School. Elaine worked at Harry’s Auto Store and Secor Landscaping prior to 1963 when she began her career working for the City of Toledo. She held positions in the civil and criminal branches of the Toledo Municipal Court, worked in the City Inspection Division, and in 1972 was appointed to the position of Executive Secretary to the Toledo Municipal Court Administrator. She was later appointed as Administrative Assistant to the Court Administrator, a position she held until her retirement in 1991. Elaine was a woman of utmost honesty and integrity, gaining the admiration and respect of countless judges, administrators, and all those with whom she worked. Elaine was a long-standing faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in downtown Toledo. Elaine was an avid bowler and loved playing card games. Elaine was preceded in death by her father George Radunz, mother Viola Kopfman, and brother Ronald Radunz. She is survived by her niece Brenda Hammett, and nephews Dale Radunz and Thom Radunz. There will be a visitation at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, on Monday, January 11th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Elaine would want charitable donations made to her church, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 428 N. Erie St., Toledo, Ohio 43604.
