Clifford M Peth

Clifford M. Peth of Monclova, Ohio, passed away and returned home to our Savior on November 23,2021. He was born April 27, 1934 in Toledo to Elmer “Pete” and Mabel (Neils). Clifford married his beloved wife of 64 years, Betty (Hurst) on May11, 1957. Cliff was a quiet, caring and devoted family man to his wife and 2 sons Alan and Dan. He loved to fish, recondition old furniture, build car models and do paint by number kits. He was the ultimate handyman as well and kept his quiet sense of humor until the very end. He loved his Ohio State Football, every game day he would proudly hang his OSU flag in front of the house. Cliff was a devoted member of St. Petri Lutheran Church where he loved to play Dartball. He was a proud and lifelong member of Local 50 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union retiring in 1994. He then enjoyed several years fishing at their cottage in Kinderhook, Michigan. Clifford is survived by his wife Betty, sons Alan (Marilyn) and Dan (Lisa), grandchildren Josh, Colin (Allison), Drew, Katelyn and dog Penny. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son James Jay. Visitation will be held at The Walter Funeral Home at 4653 Glendale Ave., Toledo, Ohio 43614 on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at St. Petri Lutheran Church, 3120 S. Byrne Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43614 on November 29, 2021 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH.
