Carla Jean Trevino passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021. Born in Carson City, Michigan to Vernon Stanley and Elizabeth "Betty" June Snyder in Carson City, Michigan on January 24, 1947, she was a tiny little babe small enough to fit into a shoe box. This precious little girl grew to be an amazing and resilient woman who adored her family and friends. Although she would live a life as no stranger to pain, you would never have guessed as she was always smiling, laughing and ready to hear all about you. She had a great sense of humor and a natural ability to make a person feel loved - and she meant it. She loved quilting, gardening, drinking coffee, going to estate sales and watching Jeopardy. She was also an avid reader who enjoyed crossword puzzles, Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble. Her faith and dedication to the Lord was a big part of her life, as was her beloved church family. She will be terribly missed. Carla was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel de Jesus "Jesse" Trevino and her parents. She is survived by her children, Aaron (Heidi) Trevino, Adam Trevino, Sarah (Alfredo, Jr.) Vallejo, step-daughter, Marie (Axel) Rivera; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Jake (Evie) Snyder, John (Rose) Snyder; sister, Mary (Tom) Snyder-Wright. Friends & family may call at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., on Thursday, October 28 from 2 to 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 29 at Toledo Mennonite Church, 5501 Nebrasa Avenue, Toledo.
